$25 off for the second repair of large household appliances.
Does not apply to payment for diagnostic
A range failure is the most disruptive kitchen appliance problem — stovetop and oven both go down simultaneously. In Menlo Park homes ranging from Willows district 30” gas ranges to Sharon Heights 48” Wolf dual-fuel suites, the diagnostic approach is completely different for each. Appliance ProCare services both. $90 service call credited toward repair. 3-month warranty.

No matter the appliance, if it’s not working right — we’ll make it work again. We know what to do.
Gas igniter cleaning, recalibration, spark module and valve diagnostics — same-day response when gas odor is involved.
Gas bake igniter, electric element, and temperature sensor replacement to restore full oven function.
Thermostat and sensor calibration for uneven baking, hot spots, and ovens that run off-temperature.
Control board, touchscreen, and knob assembly repair across gas, electric, and dual-fuel platforms.

A range is unique among kitchen appliances: it’s two separate systems sharing one cabinet. The cooktop has its own ignition circuit, gas valve assembly, and control module. The oven has a separate bake element or igniter, independent temperature sensor, and in dual-fuel models, an entirely separate electric oven system. A failure in one system doesn’t necessarily affect the other — but diagnosing which system failed, and which component within that system, determines whether the repair costs $80 or $500.
Appliance ProCare technicians diagnose both systems in a single $90 service call. Call +1 650 535 4433.
Menlo Park’s wave of kitchen renovations between 2010 and 2020 produced a significant installed base of 36” and 48” Wolf dual-fuel ranges in Sharon Heights, Allied Arts, and the neighborhoods surrounding Stanford. These units are now 5–15 years old — the exact age range when specific components enter peak failure territory.
What fails first on aging Wolf ranges: the dual-stack burner igniter (inner simmer igniter is more vulnerable to debris than the outer power igniter); the dual convection fan motors (two fans, and each can fail independently, producing uneven oven results rather than complete failure); and the M Series control board (partial touchscreen response is the symptom — OEM board replacement $300–$550).
None of these justify replacing a $12,000–20,000 range. They justify a service call.
Standard 30” gas range: $900–$2,000. Professional 36” range (Wolf, Viking, Thermador): $4,500–$10,000. Professional 48” dual-fuel range: $12,000–$20,000. Most range component repairs run $80–$550. A control board at $300–$550 on a $15,000 Wolf is exactly the kind of repair that pays for itself instantly. Replacement is only the right answer when multiple major systems fail simultaneously on a unit over 20 years old.
Q: My Wolf 48” range has two oven cavities. Only the lower one stopped heating. Is this a shared board?
A: Wolf’s 48” configurations have independent heating elements per cavity but share a control board. A single-cavity failure usually points to that cavity’s element or temperature sensor, not the shared board. Our diagnostic confirms which before parts are ordered.
Q: My oven works but my front-left burner clicks constantly. Do I need a full service call?
A: Try cleaning the igniter cap first — food debris is the most common cause. If clicking persists after thorough cleaning and drying, yes, schedule a call. Isolated single-burner clicking is almost always that burner’s spark electrode or module: $80–$220.
