Who We Are

Appliance ProCare is a local company serving the Bay Area from two offices — in Fremont and in Palo Alto. We are registered as an Appliance Service Dealer with the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services (registration A 50621), and we operate as the legal entity Aytegin LLC. Every repair is performed on-site at your home or business.

Our Story

For the past five years, our team has been repairing major household appliances in the Bay Area. For the first four years, our technicians worked under contract with a large regional repair company; this allowed us to gain deep practical experience with a full spectrum of residential and commercial equipment throughout the entire Bay Area. A year ago, we launched Appliance ProCare — an independent service provider operating under its own name, with its own quality standards and warranty.

Our Team

Appliance ProCare is intentionally a small, tight-knit operation. Day to day, the team consists of a general manager who oversees scheduling and customer care, Jason as main in-house technician, two additional field technicians working under independent contractor agreements, two dispatch and customer-service operators, and an in-house accountant.

The team is deliberately compact. Every customer is handled by someone we know personally — never passed to an anonymous subcontractor.

Appliances We Repair

Residential: refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers, electric and gas stoves, electric and gas ovens, built-in ovens, built-in microwaves, electric and gas cooktops, ranges, vent hoods, washers, dryers, dishwashers, water heaters, air conditioners, and furnaces.

Commercial: heavy-duty cooking equipment like ranges, ovens, fryers, and grills, alongside refrigeration (walk-in coolers/freezers), griddles, industrial toasters and high-temperature dishwashers.

California Business Registration

We operate under an active Appliance Service Dealer registration issued by the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services (BHGS), part of the Department of Consumer Affairs.

Commercial General Liability Insurance ($1M / $2M)

We carry a Commercial General Liability policy with Spinnaker Insurance Company (NAIC #24376), issued through licensed broker Paul Meffekko Insurance Mobile Services, Inc.

Policy #CSG-00142898-01. If anything in your home is damaged during a repair — flooring, a cabinet, a tile, a finished wall — you are financially protected.

For Property Managers and Commercial Clients

Our Certificate of Insurance can be issued with Additional Insured, Waiver of Subrogation, and Primary & Non-Contributory endorsements. Request a COI from our office and we’ll send it over.

A Note on Workers Compensation

Our two additional field technicians work under independent contractor agreements, which is why Workers’ Compensation appears as N/A on our Certificate of Insurance. This structure is standard for contractor-based operations of our size, and our Commercial General Liability policy provides full coverage for any property damage during a repair in your home or business.

How Our Repair Process Works

OEM Parts Only

We don’t use aftermarket or no-name replacement parts on premium appliances. When a part needs to be replaced, we source the original OEM component — and if local distributors are out of stock, we find it through our supplier network, typically within 24 to 48 hours, including for rare premium and commercial models.

Our Honest Approach

If replacement makes more sense than repair, we’ll say so — directly, before any parts are ordered.

If the appliance is old, heavily worn, and the estimated repair cost is close to or higher than a comparable new unit, our technician will explain exactly why and let you decide. That conversation is the difference between a service call and a sales call.

Payment Methods

We accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as personal and business checks. Payment is collected after the repair is completed — not before.

Safety First — Especially with Gas

Gas stoves, gas ovens, gas cooktops, water heaters, and furnaces are not ordinary appliances. Repair work on gas equipment follows strict safety protocols: shut-off checks before disassembly, connection leak testing after every reassembly, and a conservative decision to refuse any job that falls outside our scope.

Our Warranty

Every repair that includes a replacement part is covered by a 3-month warranty on parts and labor. Repairs that don’t involve a replacement part — for example, clearing a drain line or making an adjustment — are covered by a 1-month labor warranty.

If the same part fails again within the warranty period, we come back, fix it, and charge nothing — no Service Call Fee, no labor. If a different part on the same appliance fails, we’ll show you exactly what happened and quote that repair separately.

During the first visit, our technicians will also point out any other components that are close to failure, so you can make an informed decision before the next breakdown.

Branded Service Vehicles

Our technicians arrive in branded Appliance ProCare service vehicles and company uniforms, so you always know exactly who is at your door. Each van carries a working inventory of tools and commonly needed OEM replacement parts, which lets us complete many repairs on the first visit.
