Appliance ProCare is a licensed and insured appliance repair company serving the San Francisco Bay Area. We specialize in premium residential and commercial appliances — Sub-Zero, Wolf, Miele, Viking, Thermador, and others. We are looking for an experienced appliance repair technician to join our team on a full-time or contractor basis.
You will perform on-site diagnostics and repairs of major household and commercial appliances at customer locations across the Bay Area. Most jobs are residential — single-family homes, condos, and apartments. Some calls involve commercial refrigeration equipment at restaurants and food-service businesses.
Typical work includes diagnosing malfunctions, replacing worn or failed components with OEM parts, and documenting the repair with a written receipt for the customer. You’ll work independently at each job site with full support from our dispatch team.
We are looking for a technician who is ready to work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and take ownership of every job from diagnosis to sign-off.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience repairing major household appliances. Ability to diagnose independently without relying on a second opinion for standard failures.
Comfortable working with gas and electric equipment — stoves, ovens, ranges, cooktops, dryers, water heaters. Experience with refrigeration systems: residential refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers.
Experience with Sub-Zero, Wolf, Miele, Viking, Thermador, Bosch, or similar premium brands is a strong advantage. Commercial refrigeration experience (True, Atosa, walk-in coolers) is a plus but not required.
Valid California driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. Reliable, punctual, and communicates clearly with customers.

Compensation based on completed jobs. The more you complete, the more you earn — straightforward and transparent.

Our lead technician has 6+ years and over 6,800 completed repairs in the Bay Area. You’ll have support on complex cases — not just a phone number.
Appliance ProCare has been operating in the Bay Area for five years. We hold an active Appliance Service Dealer registration with the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services (A 50621) and carry Commercial General Liability insurance up to $2,000,000.
